Blotter: Car, Construction Site Theft

Friday, July 27
- 6:23 a.m. — Theft of two chop saws and a pipe laser from a construction site on Minnetonka Mills Road was reported. The property was estimated to be worth approximately $12,000.
- 9:03 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a woman who appeared visibly dirty and without shoes who was calling out to people as they passed by on 2nd Street Northeast.
- 11:03 a.m. — An unlocked bike was reported stolen from a storage unit. Police did not know if any other bikes were stolen at the time of the report.
- 11:06 a.m. — A man reported that $600 was stolen from his wallet in a locker at the LA Fitness along Highway 7.
Saturday, July 28
- 8:39 a.m. — An S.U.V. was stolen from the driveway of a house located on the 1500 block of Preston Lane. There were no signs of entry or damage to the house itself.
- 10:08 a.m. — A Garmin GPS device and cell phone charger were reported stolen from a car on the 1100 block of Landmark Trail South.

- 7:06 a.m. — Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on the 600 block of 5th Avenue South. Both parties wanted the other involved to be charged with assault; after being separated the parties were advised to seek assault charges by filing a complaint.
- 3:55 p.m. — A credit card was reported stolen at the LA Fitness on Highway 7.
