Blotter: Loud Singing and Sex in Vehicles

Monday, Nov. 28
- 1:17 a.m. — Police went to in response to a report of loud singing. Officers talked to the singers.
- 3:43 p.m. — Officers received a report of a drunk man in the Driskill’s deli eating food he hadn’t paid for. A reservation for the man was made at Mission Detox.
- 8:39 p.m. — A resident told officers that a couple was having sex in a vehicle in a back corner lot near and that prostitution was suspected. Officers found the vehicle and its occupants, but nothing illegal was taking place.
Tuesday, Nov. 29
- 11:59 a.m. — Police received a report that someone broke into a vehicle parked on the 700 block of 11th Avenue South and stole two jackets.
- 12:09 a.m. — Police received a report that someone broke into a Lexus parked on the 300 block of Herman Terrace and stole a $20 handheld GPS.

- 12:47 p.m. — A shoplifter was detained in the Blake Road Walgreens photo department.
Friday, Dec. 2
- 1:21 p.m. — A resident told police someone tried to break into a home on the 300 block of 17th Avenue North. The back screen had been slashed.
- 3:17 p.m. — A Knollwood Apartments resident told police someone stole $200 from a jar kept inside the unit.
- 6:56 p.m. — The Blake Road Holiday reported that a woman stole two boxes of cigarettes.
- 7:27 p.m. — A woman told police her daughter found someone on myyearbook.com who claimed to be from a modeling agency. The person asked the daughter to take her shirt off, which she did. The daughter later decided this wasn’t a good idea and told her mother. The family turned out to live Minnetonka.
- 10:18 p.m. — A Creekwood Estates resident told police that three turquoise rings, a wallet and drugs were missing.

- 10:22 p.m. — Police went to Peace Valley Townhomes for a report of a drunk woman smashing a resident’s property.
