Monday, Jan. 2

  • 2:36 p.m. — A 12th Avenue resident told police a camera belonging to went missing during a New Year’s Eve party.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

  • 9:20 p.m. — Hopkins Park Plaza reported that someone tried to break into a washing machine. Someone was also thought to have been sleeping in a storage area.

  • 10:55 a.m. — Someone stole a purse at the .

Thursday, Jan. 5

  • 1:14 a.m. — Police took one person to detox who was causing an “issue” near .
  • 9:21 a.m. — Police learned that someone tried to break into a vehicle on the 100 block of Ridgewood Drive at about 4 a.m. The back window had been forced open, but nothing was missing and there was no damage.
  • 1:09 p.m. — Someone stole $250 from an office on the 1000 block of First Street South.
  • 1:50 p.m. — A $650 generator was stolen from an ice fishing house parked on the 500 block of 15th Avenue South.

  • 10:25 a.m. — Someone broke into a Westside Village storage locker and stole a Sega Genesis, a sculpture and a table.

Saturday, Jan. 7

  • 2:58 p.m. — Someone shot at an Eighth Avenue home, hitting it nine times with green paintballs. One of the windows was broken.

Sunday, Jan. 8

  • 4:24 a.m. — Neighbors called police after a van had been running in a driveway for four hours. Officers found vomit on the driveway and a man passed out in the back seat. He was released to a sober person.
  • 8:49 p.m. — Someone went through a vehicle parked on the 200 block of 16th Avenue North.
  • 9:04 p.m. — A vehicle parked on the 200 block of Herman Terrace was broken into. The contents of a wallet were taken.
  • 9:08 p.m. — Someone stole sunglasses from a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Maple Hills Road.
