Blotter: Public Urination and Kicking Out Windshields

Thursday, May 24
- 2:33 p.m. — Someone broke windows on a Chevrolet Malibu that was parked at Auburn North.
- 3:49 p.m. — Police went to Knollwood Apartments following a report that a man and a woman were yelling and that the man threatened to kill the woman. A second caller said the man was beating up a woman in a back lot. Officers took one of the people into custody and released them to a sober person.
Friday, May 25
- 5:27 a.m. — A person was taken to Methodist Hospital.
- 5:40 a.m. — A caller told police a homeless person was sleeping in . The person has had ongoing issues regarding sleeping in the park. He left before officers arrived.
- 7:13 p.m. — reported that someone stole two bottles of alcohol worth about $130 total. The store had the suspects on tape.
- 10:31 p.m. — Someone stole a bike trailer from the porch of an Oak Ridge home.
- 11:06 p.m. — Police arrested a person on an outstanding warrant near the intersection of Second Street Northeast and Monroe Avenue North.

- 2:42 a.m. — A resident told police a drunken man assaulted them in Burnes Park. Officers arrested the man on suspicion of assault and took him to Methodist Hospital.
- 2:58 a.m. — Police were called to the Blake Road Holiday following a report that a woman was trying to kick out the windshield of a white four-door Pontiac. The case was referred to St. Louis Park.
- 8:52 a.m. — A vehicle was stolen from overnight.
Sunday, May 27
- 12:18 a.m. — Someone stole items from the exterior of a truck parked on the 9900 block of Excelsior Boulevard.
- 2:45 a.m. — Police got a call that a group at Greenfield Apartments was being loud and urinating on the grass. The area was quiet when officers arrived.
- 4:28 a.m. — Officers went to Excelsior Boulevard to check for a drunken man. He was taken into special care once he was found.
- 4:42 a.m. — Police went to following a report of people yelling. They ticketed a man for underage drinking.
- 2:44 p.m. — Someone stole a $700 TV from .
- 4:34 p.m. — The landlord of a Blake Road property told police a renter’s girlfriend stole several items that belong to the landlord.
- 8:54 p.m. — Police responded to an unspecified report of a domestic assault on the 300 block of 12th Avenue North.
