Global Warming and the Race to Build a Clean Energy Future

The will host a discussion on “Global Warming and the Race to Build a Clean Energy Future” on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on its campus at 110 Blake Road S. in Hopkins. This community event is free and open to the public. The featured speaker is Barbara Freese, author of “Coal: A Human History,” which tells the story of how coal transformed civilization over the centuries and shows the impact that this fuel has today. She will be joined by former Minnesota State Representative Jeremy Kalin, one of the primary authors behind the state’s current energy legislation. Following the presentation, there will be time for Q&A with the speakers.
