Extreme Heat Postpones More Games

For the second day in a row, the hot weather has forced schools to delay games until another day.

Minnetonka’s ninth, 10th and JV girls’ soccer games against Eastview were postponed due to the extreme heat. The girls’ varsity soccer game is still scheduled to be played at 7 p.m. at Minnetonka High School.

For Hopkins High School, officials postponed girls’ varsity and JV tennis; boys’ 9A, B and JV soccer; and girls’ 9A, B and JV soccer.

The girls’ and boys’ varsity soccer games are still scheduled to be played. The girls will take on Shakopee at 6 p.m. at home. The boys will play Shakopee at 8 p.m. at home.
