The Royals hope to bounce back from a tough 26-20 overtime loss to Blaine as they face Irondale in a key non-conference tilt.

- J.T. Den Hartog (Hopkins—Quarterback): Has completed 24 of 34 passes for 263 and three touchdowns, despite sharing time with senior Andy Wicklund.
- Justus Canfield (Irondale—Quarterback): Threw for two touchdowns in 3606 win over Columbia Heights last week.
- Nathan Mills (Irondale—Wide Receiver): Caught a 28- and 29-yard touchdown pass in their first win of the season.
