Free Math for Manufacturing Class - Start a new career!
Free high level math class good for college prep, can lead to soldering & clean room certification
Interested in a career in manufacturing? Need to brush up on higher level math for college or a job? Looking to make a new start? Adult Options In Education is offering Math For Careers In Manufacturing, a bridge class to FastTRAC training at Hennepin Technical College (HTC). This class focuses on advanced math and measuring skills needed to work in manufacturing. The class starts on January 16, 2015 and runs until March 27. Class is on Fridays from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Late starts will be accepted.
After passing the math class, students may move on to a soldering certification class at HTC and training for clean room certifications. Students successfully completing all training components may receive job search assistance from HIRED.
Space is limited, advanced registration is required. Must meet requirements for Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs to qualify. Please call Adult Options In Education at 952-988-5343 for more information.
