(GALLERY) Alice Smith Students Enjoy Field Day

Of all the school traditions, perhaps none is as unabashedly about fun as field day. Students head out into the sunshine for games, races and competitions before heading home tired and happy.

field day Wednesday was no exception. Students competed in egg-carrying races, tug-of-war and hula-hoop competitions—or just played on the playground equipment and tried their best baseball pitches. Firefighters also let the students try on their equipment and check out the vehicles.
