Faith communities in Hopkins, Minnetonka and St. Louis Park are looking for 700 volunteers to join in on the annual Community Days of Service.
Community Days of Service is an annual event to help local schools, city parks and other community organizations. Residents find a service project they like online and spend some of their free time helping their community. Projects are available for all ages and abilities.

The initiative began with a 2009 meeting between city and faith community leaders. Now nine congregations and one synagogue have joined together for a two-day event that will take place May 21 and 22.

- Habitat for Humanity,
- Arc’s Value Village,
- Neighborhood cleanup for the 9 Mile Creek Watershed District,
- ResourceWest back-to-school supplies sorting,
- ICA Foodshelf warehouse sorting,
- playground projects,
- garden projects.
