
Hopkins boys lacrosse began this season’s conference play with a 15-5 defeat Tuesday against Eden Prairie.
The Royals (3-2) trailed early on during the inaugural indoor lacrosse game at the Prairie Dome and were down 9-2 at the half.
Junior Griffith Woodyard led the way for Hopkins with two goals, while Freshman Avery Normandin, Junior Ryan Hazuka and Senior Derek Brueske each had a point apiece.

The Royals continue conference play Thursday when they take on Wayzata (2-2) at home.
