Hopkins Farmers Market Named Metro’s 10th Best

City Pages praised the market's selection of items and downtown location.

The Hopkins Farmers’ Market is one of the 10 best in the metro, according to a City Pages list released this week.

The publication’s Hot Dish Blog ranked the Hopkins market 10th, praising how “Hopkins honors its agricultural roots.”

“The food items run the gamut, from fresh vegetables and fruits to eggs and meat,” City Pages wrote. “Crafts are here to buy or browse, and the market is located on Hopkins's main drag, so there's more chances to explore, such as visiting the galleries at the nearby .”

The market—located on Ninth Avenue, just north of Downtown Park—is open from 7:30 a.m. to noon every Saturday through October 27, rain or shine.
