Hopkins senior wrestler Austin Haecherl finished his state tournament run Saturday, losing to Cambridge-Isanti's Cody Skog 15-1 in the Class AAA state individual tournament at the Xcel Energy Center. Haecherl finished the two-day individual event 1-2. He defeated Albert Lea's Caleb Kolodge by injury default in the consolation bracket before losing to Skog. He went 2-0 on Thursday during the Royals' team state tournament appearance.
