Hopkins Homecoming Brings School Colors — And Salad Dressing?

Here's a look at what's on tap for next week's homecoming celebration.

Homecoming season is upon us, and that means it’s time for fun activities, sports and school colors.

Hopkins High School’s homecoming runs Sept. 24 through Sept. 25. Each day has a unique salad dressing theme, while events are sprinkled throughout the week.

Monday, Sept. 24

  • Spirit: Caesar Day (Togas and other similarly themed wear)
  • Powder Puff Game: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hopkins High School Stadium

Tuesday, Sept. 25

  • Spirit: Thousand Island Day (Beachwear)

Wednesday, Sept. 26

  • Spirit: Ranch Day (Cowboy/Cowgirl day)

Thursday, Sept. 27

  • Spirit: Blue Cheese Day (Hopkins blue)

Friday, Sept. 28

  • Spirit: House Dressing Day (Class colors)
  • Staff Parade: 7:46 a.m. Hopkins High School
  • Pep Fest: 9:43 a.m. to 10:39 a.m. at the Lindbergh Center
  • Football game: 6 p.m. at Hopkins High School stadium
  • Homecoming Dance: 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Hopkins High School gym
