The Hopkins Junior Legion baseball team led most of the way, until five unanswered runs doomed them to a 7 - 6 loss to the Eastview Thunder on Thursday evening at Apple Valley. Winning 6 - 2 entering the bottom of the seventh Hopkins allowed the Thunder to string together hit after hit and eventually tie the score at six.  Hopkins couldn't hold off the Thunder, who scrapped together two hits and a walk to win 7 - 6 in the bottom of the eighth inning.
