Hopkins Lacrosse Coasts to 8-2 Victory Over Bloomington Kennedy
Junior Ryan Hazuka scored four goals despite a broken thumb.

Junior Ryan Hazuka entered Saturday’s lacrosse game with a broken thumb. But despite playing with a cast, he managed to score four goals in the Royals’ 8-2 tromping of Bloomington Kennedy on Saturday.
Hopkins launched to a quick 2-0 lead on goals by Hazuka and junior Kyle Law. The Eagles snatched a goal early in the second quarter, but the Royals rebounded with three more goals before the end of the half.
Two more goals in the third and another in the fourth widened the gap, despite a fourth-quarter Bloomington Kennedy goal.
