Hopkins Named No. 2 Suburb in Twin Cities

Move aside Minnetonka. Step back St. Louis Park. Hopkins has you beat.

Vita.mn readers named the Raspberry community the second-best suburb in the Twin Cities in The List of Lists 2013.

Only Roseville placed higher than Hopkins, although neighboring communities also won significant numbers of votes. Minnetonka placed fourth, Edina placed fifth, Eden Prairie placed sixth and St. Louis Park placed seventh.

A handful of Hopkins businesses also won spots on the list. The Hopkins Pizza Lucé was ranked No. 2 for suburban restaurants, and Mann’s Hopkins Cinema 6 came in at No. 7 on the list of best movie theaters.
