Hopkins' Nia Coffey Makes All-Metro First Team
Sydney Coffey, her sister, was named to the All-Metro Third Team.

guard Nia Coffey has been named to the Star Tribune’s 2011-12 All-Metro First Team, a list released Monday night.
The newspaper praised Coffey’s athleticism, saying the junior “is perhaps the most athletic player on the (all-metro) first team.”
Coffey is joined by her sister Sydney Coffey, a senior guard who was named to the All-Metro Third team.

The duo will next put their skills on display when they take on Lakeville North in the Class AAAA State Girls Basketball Tournament quarterfinals at 10 a.m. at the Target Center.
