Hopkins Police Plan Reward In Break-In Cases

A decision is expected by Friday.

After a thieves in underground parking lots in Hopkins over the last three weekends, city police say they are planning on announcing a reward for information in the case.

According to Sergeant Mike Glassberg, an announcement about the award could come as early as tomorrow. 

"Investigation has the case. The next step is to put out a reward," he said.

Glassberg said the department was also working with apartment building owners to improve security and surveilance on their properties. Aside from locking your car and removing valuables from your car, Glassberg tips on avoiding vehicle break-ins with Hopkins Patch earlier this month.
