Hopkins Royals played a tight game against the Eagan Patriots Thursday evening. The teams battled back and forth through out the game, with Hopkins leading by a run going into the seventh. Failing to score any runs in the seventh, Eagan managed to get the bases loaded when Matt Fiedler hit a hard line drive to the outfield that brought in two runs to take the win against Hopkins, 7-6.
