Sophomore Kim Aanestad has been awarded the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award a Girl Scout may earn. Aanestad spent more than 80 hours planning and implementing her project, which included determining a need in the community and developing innovative ways to address it. More than a service project, the Girl Scout Gold Award encompasses organizational, leadership, and networking skills, and sets the foundation for a lifetime of active citizenship. Congratulations!
