If you happen by the on any given Thursday afternoon, the first thing you'll notice is laughter and music coming from the gymnasium.  The next thing you'll notice is the smell of fresh-brewed coffee.

With equal portions of potluck treats, fancy dance moves and gracious hospitality, the Hopkins square dancers heartily welcome visitors to their weekly gathering.  They share a common interest in square dancing, but this group is about so much more than that.  Like a little oasis amid a world of tension and strife, the pure enjoyment of these dancers is like a true breath of fresh air that takes visitors back to a kinder and gentler time.
