Hopkins Residents Compete in Life Time Tri
Eighteen locals took part in Saturday's race around Lake Nokomis.
Eighteen Hopkins residents headed to Lake Nokomis on Saturday for the 2012 Life Time Fitness Triathlon.
In the short course, racers swam a quarter mile, biked 15 miles and ran three miles. In the international race, competitors swam 1.5 kilometers, biked 40 kilometers and ran 10 kilometers. In the relay, a different person on the three-person team did each event.
