
Four Hopkins residents were among the runners who crossed the finish line at Monday’s Boston Marathon.
The following local runners finished the famous race, according to searchable results on the Boston Athletic Association website:
- Eric B. Stevenson, 37, 3:18:35 (1,670th place overall)
- Michael J. Volker, 57, 4:07:59 (10,176th place overall)
- Jozef Klobusnik, 53, 4:30:50 (14,305th place overall)
- Leanne M. Steinbrunn, 39, 4:31:43 (14,435 place overall)
In all, 22,480 runners from around the world started the race and 21,554 finished. Minnesota had 419 people start the race and 408 finish.

In the overall competition, Sharon Cherop, 28, of Kenya took the top female spot with a time of 2:31:50 and Wesley Korir, 29, of Kenya and Louisville, KY, led the men with a time of 2:12:40.
