The school's activity fields were full of students having fun Wednesday.

Eisenhower Elementary students headed into the sunshine Wednesday for their annual Field Day.

The students competed in longstanding favorites, such as tug-of-war and sack races. There were also creative relay races—such as carrying large stacks of pizza boxes, dressing up in oversized clothes and firefighting gear and filling buckets with water.

It was a full, active day for the students.
