Police Investigating Two Blake Road Robberies

A man was taken to the hospital because of injuries sustained in one of the robberies.

Police are investigating a pair of Blake Road robberies.

The first happened just before 11 p.m. March 14 when two masked men tried to rob a man in the lobby of Westside Village Apartments at 103 Blake Road, said Police Sgt. Michael Glassberg.

The men used a weapon, but the man was able to fight them off without losing any property. He was injured, however, and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
