(VIDEO) Hopkins Says Goodbye to Retiring Police Reserve Officers

Reserve Captain Sue Rhodes has been in the organization 10 years. Reserve Officer Richard Brasket has been in 17 years.

Hopkins’ Police Reserves collectively donate about 5,000 hours of service each year to the . On Tuesday, the City Council bid farewell to two retiring reserve officers who accounted for about a fifth of that total last year.

Reserve Captain Sue Rhodes, who has been with the reserves for 10 years, volunteered 640 hours last year while having a full-time job with General Mills. Reserve Officer Richard Brasket, a retired aeronautical engineer and business owner, has been with the reserves for 17 years and volunteered more 495 hours last year.
