ResourceWest Needs More Help with Toy Drive

With 236 families still scheduled to come in this week, the organization needs more toys.

With 236 families still scheduled to come in for toys this week, ResourceWest’s shelves are already low in its annual Toy Chest drive.

This seasonal program provides new toys and gifts to children and teens through senior high living in Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Shorewood and Woodland.

Families receive one large item, two smaller items, and stocking stuffers for each child. The program provided gifts to more than 1,350 children in 2010β€”a sharp increase compared to the 1,020 children who received gifts in 2009.
