Second Man Charged in Hopkins Robbery
Eric Freeman, 18, faces one count of aggravated robbery and one count of simple robbery.

A second suspect has been charged in connection with early Thursday morning.
Eric Freeman, 18, faces one count of aggravated robbery and one count of simple robbery, said Police Sgt. Michael Glassberg. The exact details of the accusations against Freeman weren’t immediately available, but Glassberg said Freeman is alleged to have been in the 17th Avenue parking lot at the time the robbery took place there.
Prosecutors previously charged 20-year-old Joemel Devon Robinson with the same offenses. Police say Robinson used a gun to threaten a man who he met to buy marijuana, hit the man on the head with the gun and took the man’s marijuana.

Both Freeman and Robinson are in Hennepin County jail. Their bail has been set at $40,000.
