With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Who was your favorite athlete growing up and why? Steve Prefontaine, he could hold a pace better than anyone else and just the stuff he did was amazing. How would you describe yourself in three words? Laid-back, friendly, and dedicated What is your favorite subject in school? History If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be and why? I would be the president, not necessarily Obama, but any president, just to be in his shoes and see what it's like. What is your favorite quote? "Only think of two things—the gun and the tape. When you hear the one, just run like hell until you break the other." – Sam Mussabini What song do you usually listen to before meets to pump you up? I put my iPod on shuffle What has been the most exciting moment in your life so far? Practicing and being with the cross country team all summer. What are your plans for next year? I want to run, I'm not sure where but I'm looking at St. Olaf and Gustavus Adolphus
