Snow Fence Badminton

Hopkins family members keep their eye on the 'birdie' as they enjoy a game of badminton over a snow fence at Blake School late Saturday afternoon.

Outdoor activities were  popping up all over Hopkins this weekend as area temps finally began to climb.  The signs of spring were sprouting  everywhere, from the return of robins, the Twins season opener and folks enjoying the view from a sidewalk cafe.

The Minefee family found a creative way to use one of the signs of winter, a snow fence, as a badminton net.  Parents, Maurice and Oralia, enjoyed a great time outdoors along with their children, Victor, Clarice and Adrian.
