Somali Women's Group Invites Supporters to Happy Hour
Isuroon provides health education and advocacy for more than 150 Somali women.

Founded by Somali women, Isuroon provides health education and advocacy to help over 150 Somali women build and maintain self-sufficiency and live healthy lives. For the past two years, Isuroon has helped many women with infertility and other health related issues. We seek your support - financial, political and networking to provide more resources to the Somali community. Your support and financial contribution will envision better health outcomes for Somali women.
As a young organization we hope to grow in empowering women in the Somali community; therefore, we to invite you to our first event for supporters.

A Happy Hour for Isuroon

Your gift supports the work for Isuroon including a regular Isuroon support group that meets to reduce stress related to low socioeconomic status and acculturation to a new culture. This group provides a safe environment where they receive culturally sensitive social support to increase self-esteem, socioeconomic status, leadership, with information about health and political policies that influence their livelihood. Isuroon is a Somali word that means empowered, inspired or motivated women. Isuroon is led by Somali women and can focus on how Somali culture values medicine.
