Texas, Florida, and Arizona are not safer. But, they do put lots of people in jail, especially if you are black, hispanic or eastern European. If you are lilly white and speak with a southern accent you are relatively safe. The Justice Project has found that DNA evidence is helping many wrongly imprisoned get out in Texas. But if a person of color commits or is accused of a crime, as long as you put someone of color in jail for the crime, that's good enough justice, right Mike?
