AnnapurnaBlue Health &amp; Wellness: A Sanctuary for Renewal AnnapurnaBlue Health &amp; Wellness was created from a simple yet powerful belief: that true healing happens when we care for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. We believe these seasons of life are not endings — they are powerful invitations to rise. Our programs are inclusive, nurturing, and deeply respectful of each individual’s journey. Editor's Note: The following announcement comes from Hopkins Public Schools.   Two Hopkins High School students have won National Scholastic Art Awards -- Michael Semahge and Clair Hoober. Semahge won a National Gold Key award for his drawing "5 O'Clock Shadow," which was also named an American Vision Nominee and was one of five pieces chosen for the "Best of Show" category. Hoober's painting, "Crashing Waves," won a National Silver Key. Being recognized at the national level is an extremely high honor. Since 2004, only eight Hopkins High School students have received National Scholastic Art Awards. As part of the honor, both Semahge and Hoober are invited to attend the National Awards Ceremony in New York City this summer. The National Scholastic Art Awards is the national component of the Minnesota Scholastic Art Award competition. This year, Hopkins students won 29 Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards (10 Gold Key, eight Silver Key, and 11 Honorable Mentions).
