Vote on Your Favorite Salon 300 Pieces
Hopkins Patch will award two artists gift certificates to a local art supply store based on your votes.

Getting into the State Fair Fine Arts show is no easy feat. Judges last year chose just 413 works from the 2,330 works submitted.
But that’s a lot of good work left out. That’s why the will bring several hundred of those pieces before a new audience at its Eighth-Annual Salon 300: Minnesota State Fair Overflow Show—and this year, Hopkins Patch is sponsoring a prize for the two works that you judge the best.
Hopkins artists and Fawzia Khan will pick 10 finalists from among the works displayed in the show. Hopkins Patch will announce those finalists at the opening reception, which takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
