VIDEO: Walking Toward Grace
Worshipers trek between St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Lutheran Church of the Reformation for Good Friday.
They could be seen on Minnetonka Boulevard on Friday—bundled up, a bit rough and carrying a cross. The group periodically circled together at an intersection, read a short message, echoed a liturgy and said prayer.
The worshippers were trekking seven miles between on the Hopkins-Minnetonka border and in St. Louis Park. The walk was a modified version of the Stations of the Cross—a way to remember key events during Holy Week.
The weather was cold, gloomy and, at times, drizzly. But the walkers didn't care. It was Good Friday. It was a day of rememberance.
