The Blair’s Tree of Hope Bone Marrow Drive takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Valley View Play Fields in Bloomington (9000 Portland Ave. S.).
The drive is free and open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 62.
Those who wish to be entered into a bone marrow database must present identification and fill out a form with basic information. Their cheeks will then be swabbed and the swabs will be sent to a bone marrow registry, where details will be kept on file in case anything pops up.
