When officers arrived the man was cooperative and let them into his room and admitted he “had been drinking and was depressed” but denied making self-hurt comments online. He said he “had no idea why his family would call (police) to check on him.”
He stumbled as he walked and talked and conceded to talking the breath-test. Because his level was high and he admitted to being depressed officers considered the man a danger to himself and suggested he go to the hospital.
