A Hands-On Holy Land Experience This special holiday experience will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Saturday December 14, 2013 from 4PM - 7PM the cost is FREE As you enter downtown Bethlehem, you will check in with the town census taker, pay your taxes and explore the Bethlehem marketplace.  Participants will have the opportunity to make several fun craft items, grind their own spices (to take home) and enjoy an old time snack at the farmer's market.  They may also pay their respects to "King Herod" and one of his 10 wives. There will be a wonderful display of ancient artifacts. End the evening with a visit to the stable to meet Mary, Joseph, the baby Jesus and an assortment of live animals. Each family will go home with a small gift.
