Carolyn M. Piringer, 79, of South St. Paul, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Dec. 9, 2012. Preceded in death by husband Robert, granddaughter Haley Anne and great-granddaughter Samantha. Survived by three children; Linda (Daniel) Niederkorn, Robert Piringer & Nancy Wahlin (Chris Odle); eight grandchildren, Shannon, Ryan, Nicole, Melissa, Elizabeth, Cory, Christopher and Matt; eight great-grandchildren, Tessa, Serena, MyKinzie, Jake, Chelsy, Brayden, Tyler and Claire; three siblings; Gerald (Margaret) Davis, Janice (Mickey) DeRusha and Bruce (Carrol) Davis; sister in-law, Nancy Davis; and by many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. Friday at Kandt and Tetrick Funeral Home, 140 8th Ave. N., South St. Paul. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and one hour before service on Friday.
