Helen F. Mahoney (nee Lothenbach), 90, of Inver Grove Heights, beloved mother, grandmother and foster mother, died April 4, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, Pat; sister, Rosemary; and grandson, Rollie. Survived by children, Jim (Colleen), Pat, Kathy (Dick) Swanson, Dianne (Rol) Fick, John (Peggy) Wagner, Pete (Jennifer) Becker, and special daughter, Stephanie; beloved sister, Dorothy Goettl; brother, Frank (Lorraine) Lothenbach; brother-in-law, James Rosendahl; sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Mark Mahoney; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and loving, caring friends. Foster mother to 97 children. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Assumption Catholic Church, 51 West Seventh St., St. Paul. Visitation 1 hour prior to the mass at church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Special thanks to Gail, Lisa and everyone at HealthEast Homecare and Dr. Tony Ferrara for all their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
