Henrietta (nee Alderink) Meleen, 87, formerly of Minneapolis and Milaca, MN. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Our beloved, Henrietta, passed away in St. Paul, MN on Jan. 8, 2013. Preceded in death by son, Robert Meleen; daughter, Susan Meleen; husband, Burton Meleen. She is survived by daughters, Andrea Peters (Jerome) and Jeanne Ryan (Peter); son, Michael Meleen (Patsy); grandchildren, Sylvan Hilber, Kipp Meleen (Michelle), Tara Schwinghammer (Charlie), Kimberly Nystedt (Todd) , Kourtney Ryan and Fallon Ryan; 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Esther Alderink and Marion Swanson; brother, Jake Alderink. We appreciate the staff of Timber Hills of Inver Grove Heights for the more than six years of wonderful care. Memorial service 2:15 p.m. Sunday, Ja. 20, at Timber Hills Senior Living Center, 6307 Burnham Circle, Inver Grove Heights. She will be buried in the spring in Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
