Marilyn Kay Olson, 67, of Inver Grove Heights, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Jan. 1, 2013. Survived by loving husband of 49 years, Steven; daughters, Michele (Ted) Schnaare and Mindie (Nathan) Schussler; grandchildren, Mikaela, Matt, Augustus and Griffin; parents, Ivan & Evelyn Sansgard; siblings, Jerolyne (Dale) Packer, Clair (Audrey) Sansgard and Carol Anderson; also numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Marilyn owned Cherished Beginnings Preschool for 36 years. Her grandchildren and the children she taught brought joy to her life. Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday. Visitation 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 2855 47th St. E. Inver Grove Heights.
