Parks and Rec Department Sponsors 'A Walk on the Wide Side' Art Contest

Are you a sixth- to 12th-grader who likes art? Then a Walk on the Wild Side is the art contest for you.

Just draw a picture of a native Minnesota animal and/or vegetation on 8.5 x 11 paper, attach an entry form, and drop it off at by March 9.

Winners—six middle school students and six high school students—will get to use air chalk to paint their entries in a local tunnel. Stop by the Community Center or download the entry form and contest rules by clicking here

Entries will be professionally judged by local artists. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and GIrl Scout Troop 51264.
