Raymond A. Makela, 85 of Inver Grove Heights died on Jan. 4, 2013. Proudly served in the U.S. Navy 1944-1946. Survived by wife, Colleen; daughters, Ruth Makela (Tim Camerer) and Mary (Jeff) Holland; grandchildren, Ivy (Ryan) Draughon, Brent (Vicky) Camerer, Chad (Trina) Camerer and great-grandchildren Lane, Nolan and Jaci Camerer. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 12, at St. Anne's Episcopal Church/Spirit of Hope Catholic Community 2035 Charlton Road, Sunfish Lake. Memorials preferred. Reception immediately following.
