Blotter: Homeowner Surprised By Intruder While in the Shower
Burglaries and a criminal sexual conduct call were recorded in the Inver Grove Heights police reports for June 18-24.

2:49 a.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 6100 block of Carmen Ave. E.

10 p.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call on the 1400 block of Upper 55th St.

June 20
12:01 a.m.—Police responded to reports of vandalism at a pump house on the 2900 block of 75th St. E. A city employee reported that a pipe cap from the pump house was missing, and that tree branches had been thrown onto the roof of the structure.
8 a.m.—Police responded to reports of a burglary on the 8200 block of of Argenta Trl.
6:46 p.m.—Police responded to a weapons call on the 7700 block of River Rd. E.
June 21
1:20 p.m.—Police responded to a burglary call on the 7500 block of Dickman Trl. The homeowner told police he was in the shower when he heard someone banging on the back door to his home. The victim finished his shower and stepped out into the house and saw the back door to his home standing open. He began yelling, and heard what sounded like more than one person run away, but didn't see any intruders. Police took photos of the damaged door, which had been knocked open. There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
