Blotter: Pizza Man Burglarized, Assault and Arson

Several additional burglaries also recorded in the Inver Grove Heights police reports for Feb. 26 through March 4.

Feb. 26

1:30am — Police respond to an assault call on the 1400 block of Upper 55th St. E. A 29-year-old woman was cited for fifth degree assault after allegedly punching another woman in the face multiple times.

10:34pm — Police respond to a domestic assault/strangulation call on the 5400 block of Blackberry Trail.

Feb. 27

9:07pm — Police responded to an arson call at Wal-Mart on the 9100 block of Cahill Ave.

10:30pm — Police responded to a burglary call at Pizza Man. An employee came to open the business and found the front door pried open and $150 in cash missing from the register. Police processed the scene for fingerprints and took photographs of shoe prints left in the snow outside the building. There are no suspects at this time.

Feb. 28

Noon — Police responded to a disorderly conduct call on the 8100 block of Cahill Ave.

March 2

12:07am — Police and the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department responded to a fire call on the 4200 block of Denton Way E. in Skyline Village for a small electrical fire in the residence. Residents managed to put out most of the fire before responders arrived.

1:37am — Police responded to a burglary and DWI call on the 7300 block of Craig Ave.

7pm — Police responded to a terroristic threats call on the 8600 block of Birch Boulevard.

8pm — Police responded to a burglary call on the 4500 block of Blaylock Way E.
