Inver Grove Heights Days Still 100 Percent a Volunteer Effort

These days, most communities utilize paid staff of one sort or another. Some of the most common examples are contracting with the local Chamber of Commerce, city runs and hiring an administrator.
Since 2000, when Inver Grove Height Days was incorporated and re-organized, its administration has been 100 percent volunteer. While some of the events are run by the city or businesses, the bulk of the IGH Day events are organized and run by the Inver Grove Heights Days Committee or other local volunteer groups.
The volunteer committee meets regularly through-out the year to plan and schedule the events during this four day celebration. Volunteers are always needed for the event weekend.
