Inver Grove Heights Royalty enjoy another great May Day 5K

On Saturday, May 5th the Inver Grove Heights Royalty assisted with the May Day 5k sponsored by the Best Foundation. We started off our morning with some face painting for the younger participants and joined forces with ALL of the Minnesota team mascots to get the runners and walkers ready for the race.
Before the race began, The Friends from Inver Glen library gave a $154,000.00 check to the Best Foudation to support the continued efforts of the foundation in awarding college scholarships.

While everyone was finishing the race, we were there to cheer them on and to congratulate them at the end of the race. We all had a great time with everyone that we met and congratulations to all the runners and walkers! And as always, a huge thank you to the BEST Foundation for allowing us to volunteer at this great event.
