IGH/SSP 7th Grade Football Meat Raffle – Rally Around Aj

The IGH/SSP 7th Grade Football family is coming together for “A Rally Around AJ,” a Meat Raffle Benefit to support 12-year-old AJ and his mom, Jodee.

After Jodee was seriously injured in a car accident in May and faced another major surgery, AJ spent much of his summer trying to help his mom. He gave up some of his own childhood toys, helped organize an online auction, and worked hard to raise money to help their family through a very difficult year.

Now AJ’s teammates, coaches, football families, and community are rallying around him. The benefit will be held at Petey’s BBQ, 1519 5th Ave in South Saint Paul, on Saturday, October 24 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

The event will include a meat raffle, with proceeds helping AJ and his mom with essential expenses as Jodee prepares for surgery and recovery.

It’s a community coming together for a kid who has spent months trying to take care of his mom — and now they want to show AJ that he doesn’t have to do it alone. ❤️🏈
